David Musser, President Prior to founding Rice Environmental, David Musser started ENRECO, an environmental business that specialized in stabilizing waste. ENRECO was named by Inc. magazine as the 22nd fastest growing private company in 1988 and the 236th in 1989. Under Mr. Musser's leadership, ENRECO completed 265 remediation projects. More than 3 million cubic yards of sludge, sediment, and soil were solidified or stabilized. In situ treatment, external treatment, heavy metals, organic compounds, even radionuclides. Mr. Musser brings all the experience he gained with ENRECO to Rice Environmental. Dwight Rice, Chairman Rice Environmental brings to the environmental construction business all the civil construction skills that D. E. Rice Construction developed during the last 13 years. A lot of it, environmental-related. Rice has constructed both Subtitle C and Subtitle D landfills for industrial and municipal clients. The more than 30 landfills Rice has constructed ranged in size from $100,000 to $6.25 million. Rice also closed more than 45 hazardous and non-hazardous waste impoundments. These closures ranged from $40,000 to $4.25 million. Rice has even constructed several large wastewater treatment facilities, including a 100 million freshwater reservoir.
