Solidification and Stabilization

Over the last twenty years our employees have played key roles in more than 265 solidification and stabilization projects. From in situ to external treatment processes, from sludge to soil, from organic compounds to heavy metals, Rice employees have the experience. In fact, they have treated more than 3 million cubic yards of soil, sludge, and sediment. To complete this work, they researched and tested thousands of different reagents. When it comes to stabilizing hazardous constituents or solidifying sludge and sediment, we know what we're doing. Our clients are assured of extraordinary work that is on time and within budget.

Landfill and Cover Construction

Since 1986 D. E. Rice Construction Company has been cutting and filling soil, compacting clay, installing synthetic liners, placing concrete, installing piping, and designing control panels. Our clients comprise the who's who of the oil and gas industry. Companies such as Phillips Petroleum, Diamond Shamrock Refining and Marketing Company , and Colorado Interstate Gas Company to name a few. Our success in this market is due to two factors: workmanship and competitiveness. We now bring these same traits to the environmental market where we construct landfills and covers. Our work is impeccable and our price competitive because we perform every facet of the work ourselves...except for installing synthetic liners. So, while our competitors battle with subcontractors, we get the work done right. With no excuses or scapegoats.
